The challenge

  • Google Ads had been running for roughly two years without delivering sales.
  • Leaking analytics: a free, limited PrestaShop plugin dropped conversion and cart-value data, so Google's algorithms bid blind.
  • A tight media budget left no room for wasted spend on unprofitable product groups.

What we did

  • Sealed the measurement layer: implemented an advanced paid PrestaShop e-commerce tracking plugin and recovered full purchase, transaction-value and path data.
  • Selected the assortment: analysed margin and potential, then promoted only the key product groups instead of the whole catalogue.
  • Rebuilt the account: Performance Max on the selected product groups, a brand campaign to protect intent traffic, and remarketing to close the purchase path.

Key takeaways

  • Measurement first: even a perfectly built account cannot earn if the algorithms learn from broken sales data.
  • On a limited budget, precise assortment selection beats promoting everything — advertise only what actually earns.
  • Shopping-style campaigns plus brand plus remarketing is what closes the funnel.
