1. Who is responsible

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep information in your browser in the same way. They can be necessary for a site to work, or optional — for example to measure traffic or advertising.

3. Legal basis

Necessary cookies are used without consent, because they are essential to provide the service you request (Art. 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law; Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

All other cookies — functional, analytics and marketing — are used only with your prior consent (Art. 399(1) of the Electronic Communications Law; Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.

4. Categories and purposes

Necessary — security, delivering the current version of the site, remembering your language and your cookie choice, and keeping you signed in to the client dashboard.

Functional — extra features such as embedded calendars, videos, maps or chat.

Analytics — understanding how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

Marketing — measuring the results of our advertising and showing relevant ads on other sites.

The full, current list of cookies in each category is in section 10. Categories marked “We currently do not use cookies of this type” are prepared for future tools and are empty today.

5. Providers and transfers outside the EEA

Necessary cookies are set by Cloudflare (security and content delivery) and Lovable (hosting), acting as our processors. Our fonts are served from our own domain. When we add an optional tool (for example Google Analytics or Google Ads), its provider is listed in section 10 before it is used. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How to give, change or withdraw consent

On your first visit a banner offers three equal choices: “Reject all”, “Customize” and “Accept all”. “Customize” opens a panel where every optional category is switched off until you switch it on; “Save my choice” saves your selection.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — as easily as you gave it — with the round cookie icon in the bottom-left corner of every page, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. When you withdraw consent for a category, we delete its cookies from our domain and reload the page.

Closing the banner without choosing saves nothing and loads no optional tools; the banner appears again on the next page view.

7. Consent register

To prove consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR) we record each decision: its random ID, date and time, consent version, the choice made, a shortened IP address (the last part removed — we never store the full address), browser type, the page and language. Your current consent ID is shown in section 10.

8. Retention

Each cookie's lifetime is listed in section 10. Your cookie choice is kept for 12 months, after which we ask again; we also ask again when we add new tools. Consent register entries are deleted automatically after 3 years.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent. Contact hello@metricsroom.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

We update this policy whenever the tools we use or the consent banner change. The effective date and date of the last change are shown at the top of this page.
